Director of PrayerMetro: Phil Larson. Everyone has a passion. Some live it. Some wish it. Encouraging you is my passion. Prayer is my calling.

Phil Larson is a middle aged mentor to many. With over 25 years in administration in computer services in retail, hospital, and insurance industries, 6 years directing operations of a large multi-cultural church along with an inner city mission, 25 years ministering the gospel, 28 years of marriage, four children (two married), and lots of life lived, Phil offers you the thought, "the greatest you can be is to fully be the human God created you to be." "Fulfilling His destiny for you in this life is why He came and died and lives." "Jesus sanctified our humanness through becoming fully man along with being fully God."

Phil has written several devotional books designed for small group study or personal study centered around personal relationship with the Father and how that relationship affects personal relationships in the kingdom and the world.

Phil has served as the local OKC metro chair of a fathering initiative in partnership with the Oklahoma Family Policy Council, First Southern in Del City, the National Center for Fathering, and over 100 churches in the OKC metro.
Following that launch, we have had multiple fathering and family events in the metro. Churches as variant as Del City Nazarene, Calvary Pentecostal Holiness, St. John Missionary Baptist, Western Hills, New Hope Worship Center, and Lakeside Assembly have hosted events. 90 congregations have had men trained in fathering discipleship. Partnerships continue with the State Department of Health, CBMC/OKC, Oklahoma Family Policy Council, Oklahoma Marriage Initiative, CCSR, IIMAI, and others.
As prayer is our heart, we have hosted gatherings of ministers on key men's issues and for prayer for our city.
Phil attends church at Catedral de Adoracion (Cathedral of Worship), a bi-lingual congregation, where his pastor is Lemuel Garcia.

Phil goes by "Dad", "Boss", "Pastor", "Reverend", "Friend", "Brother", "PAL". You can contact Phil by email at: Phil@prayermetro.com
